Jeffrey, Pashcal (our driver/tour guide/bodyguard), and I took a trip up to the Statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janiero, Brazil this morning — an incredibly beatufil site, with the most amazing views of the city below.
There was a quiet calm on the mountain when we made it to the top.
I was glad we waited until the sun came out to make our trek up to the statue.
Hope to make it back to Rio again.

Mom - I love the way the blue ski is behind the outstretched hands of the Statue of Christ the Redeemer and.. the words you used, the “quiet calm.” I’m so happy for you to have the opportunity to see so many of the beautiful sites of our world.
