Spring Legs.

When I was 16, I lost all feeling in my legs, and had to be in a wheelchair following back surgery for six months. Because of this (and my full recovery back to normal), I have much appreciation for my legs. It’s amazing to find out what life would be like without them. In honor…

Sonny - I know you said any other kind of tanning is harmful so that is why you self tan, but how do you avoid burning when you are out in the natural sunlight? I remember seeing a posting on your blog and you were laying out on the beach. Wouldn’t you say that is harmful to your skin when you have no real base tan, or do you have some secret to share?

Javacurls - Thanks for the MK tip. I’m always looking for a light lotion/cream to make my legs look glossy & shimmery. Did you ever try Jack Black’s shaving lotion? I loved it unfortunately they’re discontinuing their womens products. Anyhoo, you may want to add Fresh’s Brown Sugar Body Polish to your Spring skin routine. It leaves your skin incredibly soft!! Your legs will thank you. ;)
Enjoy your trip to Poland!

Leslie Lictart - I totally went and bought that Oil of Olay stuff, it’s amazing!!! My legs are no longer thirsty!!!!! Thanks for the fantastic tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next I’ll have to try that scrubbing tip cause I have a bit of a cellulite problem.

lee - I am off to Phoneix tommorow, and I am going to stop and buy the Oil of Olay Touch of Sun, I have another one, but it streaks, thanks for the hint.

Packed and ready.

I took time this past weekend to pack for my next three trips (a 5-day trip to various states this week, Poland next week, and then Seattle the following week). This is my new packing strategy: I hang everything up, by outfit — and then pack each outfit into its own plastic bag. I had…

lee - god your mom has the best view, all I see when I look out my kitchen window is gras and the neighbours yard. Her pictures were great, and the flowers are amazing oh to live on the coast and have the flowers come up so early

niki - Jess that is such a beautiful view! I used to live right on the coast like that but, closer to the beach.. and now I am stuck in the middle of suburbia.
Do you think your mom would mind if i used her picture as my desktop?
The marbles, the urchins, the glass bulbs, the bamboo and that glorious view, so peaceful…
I have found a mission for the day, I’ll choose a window and remake it into a peaceful haven. :) niki

Still smiling.

I’m working on so many projects right now — it’s hard to even find the time to sit down and write for a few moments. Here are a few of the highlights. The launch of Jeffrey’s Little Green Book of Getting Your Way: I want to make sure all of the details are in order….

Leslie - Wow. So many big things going! I don’t know how you do everything, especially with your busy travel schedule. However, at least you enjoy your work. That’s so wonderful.

valerie - you photograph soooooo stinking well! what a great shot of your eyes, especially. stay busy, but don’t forget to play, too!

Today.

I've spent the last two days at home working on the YES! Attitude course workbook. It's reminding me why I love the YES! book so much — and how much exposing yourself to positive information can impact your mood and attitude in general. I've felt great and been able to get a ton done. The…

valerie - oh, MAN! i hope she goes, too!

A new bathroom.

The new bathroom is nearly complete. Still need to have the painters come — and then the electrician can finish off the lighting. It’s so fun to see how my original vision of the sink and green glass tiles on the wall came together so nice. The open suitcase that you see on the right…
