Do you ever have one of those days where everything seems out of whack? Today is one of those days for me. I think my body is still trying to discover what time it is (and what time zone I am in). I read in a magazine that jetlag is defined as the body trying…

Monthly Archives: May 2007Thank you, Pati, for your love and support and honesty and strength and courage and attitude and beauty and class. Hi Jess, DAY 9 and 10 Bye, Bye Berlin. I’m glad to be on the way home today — but I had a great time in Germany. Berlin is filled with such interesting history — Jeffrey and I took more of a tour through East Berlin yesterday and found all kinds of goodies. I would definitely recommend… Europe must be such an amazing place…all the history (good and bad) from thousands of years – just something we don’t quite get here in America! DAY 8 Wow. Such a fun day today. Jeffrey’s seminar went great (as always). He is an incredible presenter and such an inspiration to be around daily. We headed out this afternoon to do a little shopping and sightseeing. There are some of the cutest little florists here along the streets. It started to rain… Holy Crap, Jess! How freakin’ cool is that? Great timing, girl! Love the hat, too! The food looks amazing. DAY 5, 6, 7 (I lost one day in there coming back across the international date line) Wow. The longest plane ride ever. I watched a couple movies (The Painted Veil and Because I Said So), did tons of emails, and still had about six more hours to go. Finally made it to Berlin today… DAY 4 Australia and Supporting Autism AwarenessThree days in a row of beautiful weather. Delightful. I couldn’t resist yesterday and had to be out in the sun for at least a few minutes. It was the perfect chance to display my cute new hair clip! And if you’re looking for a good cause to donate… Jess, DAY 3 (It’s Saturday, Down Under) The weather here is beautiful. In the high ’70s. Had a bit of trouble connecting to the Internet yesterday and today. But we’ve found a perfect little spot in the outdoor lobby, overlooking the pool and lake. The TV in the lobby is playing the Wachovia Championship golf tournament,… dude – i cannot stand the feeling of just flying from LA to the East Coast, so i can’t imagine going across as many as you do! I cannot imagine how it must feel to go through so many time zones in so few days. I’m sure it’s disorienting. Thank heavens for shopping! DAY 1 (which quickly turned into DAY 2 after crossing the international date line). The long flight from LAX to Auckland was one of the most comfortable long-haul flights I have ever taken. I brought some very special skin treatments along — and that helped with moisturization of both my skin and eyes (my eyes… Around the world in 12 days begins today. Los Angeles . Sydney . Singapore . Berlin . Charlotte Wow! That’s amazing! Have a wonderful trip! Safe travels! |

Wendy Kenney - Hi Jessica,
I found your blog because I read Jeffrey’s note of appreciation in the latest book and wanted to find out about the person that he thinks so highly of. (I saw him in Phoenix when he was here last month too!):)
Anyway, I enjoy reading about your travels and seeing the pictures. How blessed you are! What a great time of your life!
I noticed that you’re going to be in San Diego in July. Since that’s one of my favorite places in the whole world, I thought I’d tell you about one of my favorite places to eat there in the whole world…Cafe 222. One of those little treasures. http://www.cafe222.com
Enjoy! And thanks for all of your good work! I have all of Jeffrey’s books!
