Camellia

Gabrielle and I took a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon. I was so happy to see the camellias
in full bloom (wish I would have had a camera other than my iPhone). The flower made me think of Coco Chanel and how I can't wait to see the
new Coco Before Chanel biopic. I've heard good things and I'm hoping for Jeffrey to be able to go with me!

We also made a pit stop at Charlotte's best gift store Paper Skyscraper. They have the greatest things. Things that make you think of other people. Things that make you smile – like the calendar above. And things that make you laugh out loud – even when you're shopping by yourself! – like Blue Barnhouse cards. I was glad to see they're now carrying Kid-O toys. And I love the special 35th anniversary slipcase edition of Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree.

Ever get a text message you wish you never had to erase from your phone? Love you, Jeffrey.

robin - forgot to say I LOVE that flower capture..so pretty jessica

robin - jeffrey is “the best”..seriously ..a lovely man you have there

jenn - 11:11 is a lucky time of day…and now you have the text pic forever :) Very cool! makes me smile for you just reading it!!! :)

Sara - something very comforting about that text. don’t you just love texts? it sounds crazy but when I was pregnant with my daughter, I took photos (just like the one you posted) of many of the texts that my husband and I sent back and forth to each other about her and I put them in her baby book. I’m sure when she grows up texting will be ancient… like a giant cordless phone or something…but surely she will still love to read messages from her parents in the middle of a random day that say things like, “I was just thinking about our daughter and I hope she’s just like you….” and my response, “…that’s funny…because I hope she’s just like YOU!”

Stephanie - Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Yeah, keep it forever. I think by putting it on this blog, you just did!

Heather Bulloch - What a wonderful text message to receive, it made me smile.

lee - The picture of the camellia is beautiful…I actually love the soft, fuzzy look of it.
And the text from Jeffrey is so lovely…what a blessing to share life with someone so caring and open with his care.

kelly - that text… perfect.

Trista Hertz - And 11:11 is a lucky time of day, I’ve always thought. You are quite the lucky girl to receive a message like that!

Christa - That’s a keeper. The text message and the gentleman who sent it.
