Beck, the ceramic egg dish picture is showing two 9-cup egg trays sitting adjacent on the table. I found them at West Elm. I have seen bigger ones in the antique stores.
Thanks for visiting!
Jessica

Amber - Beautiful Photos! Love the sweet lovin’ too!

beck - How fun! Looks like a great weekend! I have to ask, is that a ceramic egg holder? If so, where did you ever find one that size? I have seen a 6 egg holder at Crate and Barrel, but never a larger one. Its fabulous!!

Hall Family Farm.

Gabrielle and I visited Hall Family Farm in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. We went for opening day of the u-pick strawberry season. I got Gabrielle to work right away! And she was into it! A winner! This is not a good representation of the delicious and brigt red berries that were available for picking…

McGill Rose Garden.

There's a delightful little rose garden in the city of Charlotte. And for my little rock lover, this was a great place to spend an hour this afternoon. There are some amazing roses in the garden. And it appears that there is going to be hundreds more over the course of the next month or…

Mom - Thank you for posting the beautiful photos of Gabrielle and the Rose garden. Love the photo of Gabrielle just getting ready to pull the rose off the stem. I can just see her smelling the flowers. Love, Mom

Megan - Adorable. My girls love flowers too. I love Gabrielle’s outfit. Can you please share where it is from?

robin - oh I’ll have to go there…bet it will be full of blooms soon and I’m lovin that little Gg tee..so cute!

Liz - This is beautiful and so is she. I love roses and remember often the ones your Grandparents kept at their house on the golf course. I need to get more rose bushes planted this year, three is just not enough.

Abbie - She is so precious! I’m teaching Luke the same thing, He wants to pick every flower he sees!! :)

Gabrielle is 2.

It's kind of hard to believe, but there's a little two-year-old now residing in our house! Here's a photographic account of what went down for Gabrielle's 2nd birthday party! The highlight, of course, was all Gabrielle's little people in attendance! The theme for the party was "Time Flies" and I had oh so much fun…

Catherine Schwartz - You eye for decor is amazing. I started reading your blog after being directed by your sis’s blog. Love both of your blogs!
Also, having a 11 month old, it is great to read about a babe a little older, and seeing the fun I have to look forward to with my little girl. (As well as seeing that it gets a little easier!)

reeve - yea!! It was such a fun party. and your decorations were so, so cute:)

angie - oh my what a sweet little party…love all the details! the tshirt would be perfect for my 3 yo AND/OR my 18 month old! so many delightful moments to savor, that is for sure! i’m doing it by really being present in everything that i do…so when i’m with them – (and it’s most of the time!), i’m with them. but i think it’s also important for mama’s (and papa’s too!) to take time for themselves so that they are energized for their babes. pictures, videos, my blog, memory books, etc all help to document the precious time…but really being able to live it and fully feel these amazing times are what keep me fueled! thanks for sharing.

Angie - I am constantly in a state of trying to remember it all since this age of childhood is SO fleeting. Our little girl turned 2 at the end of Feb and it feels like as you said life is flying by! She is our last sweetie after two lovely boys and I wish I could make time standstill. Every day is gone in a blink of a eye. Savor it all, everyday is so wonderful!

Cole - You’re a human sparkler, Gabrielle! Happy Birthday! Love, Cole & Ruby

Bruna - Beautiful pictures! Can´t believe she´s 2 years old though.
=)

Melissa - Happy Birthday!! I savor little moments by just watching, listening and making mental photographs. It’s not always about capturing the moment, but being in the moment also.

Patty W - oh my goodness – what a wonderful birthday party! love all the little special details that went into making Gabrielle’s party so amazing…from the color scheme to the play houses to the sweet treats (the mini milk bottles are the best!) to the adorable party favors. My special life moments are all wrapped up in my little 3 year old daughter – I am trying to remember to take more pictures and write more things down so when I don’t remember anymore I can go back and look and read and revisit those special times. They grow up so fast, don’t they?

Tracey - Gorgeous pictures. What a lovely day you had. I just got back from my niece’s 2nd birthday party and she amazed me by being able to blow bubbles and blow out her candles. She wore a beautiful frilly party dress with gumboots! She got gumboots from her mummy and daddy and she did not want to take them off, so she kept them on with her party dress. So cute :-)

Czarina - I try to savor moments by just living the moment and not try to document everything all the time.
Happy Birthday to sweet Gabrielle!!

Barb @ getupandplay - What a fun little soiree! My little one’s birthday was last week (2 as well!) and I decided to simplify and it made everything so much more enjoyable! I’m currently pregnant and exhausted, so all I wanted was to be mentally and physically rested and present for the party. I invited just family (via text), had my friend make the cake, had simple food and it was a blast. For his first birthday, I was so frazzled that I didn’t even get a picture of me with my birthday boy! This year, we had plenty of moments together.

Anne Thompson - What a fun party! Loving all the grey touches. I have been reminding myself to slow down and try to remember and enjoy each moment with my 2 lovlies!

Melissa C. - SO COOL!! Happy Birthday Gabrielle!!!! Wishing you a happy, healthy and wonderful year!!

Christa Bader - Every night, I write a couple of sentences in a journal of how our day went. I read over the previous entries and it helps me focus on and appreciate the small, every day moments that fill our days.
Happy birthday, Gabrielle!

Suzette - How wonderful! Where did you get those darling glass milk bottles and the sweet straws? Those homemade cupcakes look so delicious! You are so pretty!

Melanie - Happy birthday Gabrielle! My daughter turned two in December .. it’s been the funnest age for us thus far! I take so much delight in documenting all the incredible things she says and does. :)

Megan Bishop - That shirt is amazing! I’ve incorporated something into my toddler’s bedtime routine that’s helping both of us savor the special moments of life. We go over the day together. Right now, it’s me reminding him of the fun times we had, but I’m sure he’ll pitch in soon (he’s 21 months). It helps me remember that each day is a gift.

Jeni - Looks like a really fun party! I am making an effort to really appreciate each moment with my new daughter. I am so excited for what’s to come but was is right now is pretty amazing.

Jess - aww, love this jess! wish we could have been there. we’ll have a special celebration when you are here. with cupcakes. xx.

Laura - Happy Birthday to Gabrielle. Looks like a wonderful party. We just found out our second baby is going to be a girl, so I’m going to need some links to where you find her clothes. I especially love that sparkly headband. ;)

Christy C - I love the party favors. So cute. Hope I win!

Andrea - Beautiful party! I love to read your blog for inspiration!
My kids are 8, 5 and 3. I realized that my 3 year old is my last baby and I really need to slow down and enjoy every moment because it’s going way too fast! So if it takes him a bit longer to get into his car seat because he has to comment on everything:), I just need to enjoy him because soon enough there will be no car seats!:)

adelina - Love the simple color scheme and decorations! I’m trying to savor moments by just being in the moment instead of trying to document everything all the time. It’s harder than it sounds.

robin - can’t believe she’s 2!…whata fantastic party it must have been..great pictures jessica..just loved the inspire!

Tina - That is the neatest theme. so well put together. Happy Birthday to your little girl. I’m enjoying the sunshine and warmer days, out on our deck with my toddlers and coffee.

Jessica B - Wonderful party theme. Love the shirts. My daughter is also turning two in just a few weeks. I can’t believe how the time has flown by.
I am working very hard at trying to savor every moment of Sophia’s childhood. I love to take pictures as a way to capture every moment.

Grace @ Grace Hester Designs - I love love love the theme! Usually you see airplanes as themes for boy parties but this was a great interpretation for a sweet little girl.
How I am best savoring my delightful life moments: By remembering that the mental images of my both my daughters as babies was really created not that long ago and yet when I look at them now (they are 6 and 3), it floors me how much they have grown in the short amount of time. It really puts things into perspective and (concidentally in line with the party theme) that “Time Flies”.

Cindy - What an amazing party! I love all the handmade touches you add. Thank you for sharing such special moments of your life with us. I am enjoying watching Gabrielle grow as I have a 3 and 18 month old. (Super cute party favor tee!)

Sara - Time does fly and the party preparations looked fabulous (as did your party attire!) Simply perfection! I’d love to win a t-shirt! Both of my “big kids” (ages 3 and 2) wear a size 3t :) Happy Birthday to your sweet girl…I think she shares my birth date, so of course it is special!

Kay Reed - Look who’s 2! Happy Birthday!!!

jenn - Happy Birthday to a sweet sweet little girl!!! (don’t enter me lol just wanted to leave wishes)
xo

Virginia - Jessica, you are an amazing woman!

Susan - What a PERFECT party…you always amaze me Jessica! Love the theme, the details, the color scheme…lovely. I can’t believe she is 2–she looks so beautiful, and in her little Parker chair too! ;)
