Surprises.

There are many things in life that delight me. Seeing a field of (what our family refers to as) “surprises” this weekend during our stay in Chicago tops the list! (As an added delight, Jeffrey and I saw these while reconnecting with our childhood on a biking adventure!) Gabrielle has been in love with these since the first moment she saw what happens when you blow them. She is back home in Charlotte with Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend – and I just wanted to pick all of them and bring them home to her!
