After 32 years of ringing in the New Year in a cool climate, I’ve now experienced the opposite – and plan to continue! It felt so good to put on some SPF and feel the sun’s rays against bare skin as I took time to reflect on all the wonderful blessings brought about in 2011….

Love your pics.
If you like Rodin, there’s a brilliant movie (from years ago) about his life and love with Camille Claudel – late 80s with Isabelle Adjani (the film is actually about her now that I think of it). Her sculptures are fabulous too. Love your shots of the museum – I’m inspired
Wow, incredibly inspiring…have always been a fan, but the color story here combined with the textures is just gorgeous.
In our top-floor of an old factory living space, we hear the rain hit the roof and it’s the most delightful and comforting sound I know. It’s a beautiful, rainy day here in Charlotte. I love rainy days. Must be something to do with my roots in the Pacific Northwest and the frequency of this…

Jessica, your photos have such beautiful composition…..love the one of Gabrielle’s face just covered in water…and the look of pure, unadulterated joy!
Oh and that video is so wonderful…makes me want to go jump in puddles with child like wonder & delight!
Water is so comforting…I grew up on a lake and to this day the sound of soft water is like home to me. I love how you let Gabrielle discover & explore, such a great mama!
